What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 100% refund (minus a $300 cancellation fee and VRBO service fee) if you cancel at least 60 days before check-in.
  • 50% refund (minus a $300 cancellation fee and VRBO service fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
  • No refund if you cancel less than 30 days before the reservation date.

Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment. 

When will I receive check-in instructions?

Your check-in instructions will arrive in your email twice:

1) A week in advance of your reservation 
2) A day in advance of your reservation. 

Please note the email will come from BVW VACATIONS. No matter who you book your reservation through (VRBO or another platform), the check-in instructions will still come from BVW VACATIONS.

Is trip insurance available?

Yes, we do offer trip insurance in case an emergency requires a last-minute cancellation. You can purchase the trip insurance at the time of checkout. 

Please note that trip insurance is non-refundable.

What is your payment policy?

We require all fees and half of rent at the time of booking. The remaining balance is automatically charged to your credit card on file 30 days in advance of your arrival. 

What is the checkin and checkout time?

Check-in is 4:00pm. 

Checkout is 10:00am.

This is the same at all properties. 

Are early check-in and late checkout times available?

No. Our cleaners and inspection staff need as much time as they can get between reservations to make sure your property is clean and ready on time for you and the next guest. 

Are any of your properties available for rent during the off season?

Yes. Many of our properties can be rented for longer stays during the late Fall through Spring months.

Do all your properties have a coffee maker?

Yes. Every property has a coffee maker. If you want to know which kind, please check the listing.

We know a good coffee maker is vital to your morning rituals!

Does Lake Michigan have a beach?

Yes. There are several local state and county parks that have a beach even with Lake Michigan’s current high water levels. 

Because of the high water levels, beach access at our lakefront properties vary. As water levels and lake conditions change we are unable to guarantee what kind of access the beach will have.

Yes. We offer full-service property management for properties throughout West Michigan.
